Chiropractic treats a number of conditions. At our office we specialize in several types. The following are a few of the ailments/injuries we treat and the treatment protocols we use.
HEADACHES: Dr. Vacco was the headache specialist for Sharp Community Medical Group for five years. As one of the few chiropractic specialists appointed to this group, it was his responsibility to treat those patients with chronic severe headaches that were unresponsive to all other forms of treatment. Among that group of patients he was able to help approximately 80% by either significantly reducing their headaches or eliminating them all together. He did this by using a treatment protocol that he developed using modified forms of craniopathy, acupressure, trigger point therapy, applied kinesiology and chiropractic manipulation. He now brings his unique headache protocol to headache sufferers here in the Temecula Valley.
AUTO ACCIDENT INJURIES: Dr. Vacco has treated the injuries of people involved in auto accidents in over 600 auto accident cases. He has been an expert witness either via narrative report or by actual testimony in numerous cases almost all with favorable outcomes. In one such case, his testimony helped achieve a $310,000.00 verdict. In treating accident injuries we use a number of treatment options including: chiropractic manipulation, electro-muscle stimulation (EMS), diathermy, Cox flexion/distraction (a form of decompression), trigger point therapy, micro-stimulation among other treatment modalities and techniques to bring optimum results to our patients.
CHRONIC CONDITIONS: Chronic ailments effecting the neuromusculoskeletal system are particularly responsive to chiropractic care. It takes years of experience to master chiropractic techniques. After 19 years of being in practice and doing continuing education to improve his skills, Dr. Vacco has gained mastery of the chiropractic adjustment. This has made it possible for him to help patients where others have failed.
LOWBACK PAIN AND SIATICA: One of the most effective non-evasive forms of care for low back pain, particularly with sciatica, is the Cox flexion/distraction technique (a form of decompression). You need have a special table in order to do this type of treatment so many doctors do not offer this treatment. Dr. Vacco has been doing this form of treatment successfully for over 19 years.
SPORTS INJURIES & EXTREMETY AILMENTS: Dr. Vacco has treated a number of world class athletes. Among them was a past professional tennis player and member of the Junior Davis Cup team. Once ranked among the top 20 junior players in the country, he was faced with early retirement due to severe low back pain. Two orthopedic doctors and a chiropractor declared his condition as incurable. After extensive treatment with Dr. Vacco, he was back playing professionally and the story of his recovery and come back was written up in the San Diego Union. Dr. Vacco was attributed as the person who healed him and got him back playing. He is now a tennis instructor in San Diego County.
